We are committed to providing you with a seamless, trustworthy, and enjoyable book-buying experience. Please read through our official store policies guiding purchases, deliveries, returns, payments, and customer support.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

  • All books listed as “Available” on our website are in stock unless otherwise stated.

  • For pre-order or back-order books, estimated delivery timelines will be communicated before payment.

  • Please keep in mind that prices and availability may change without prior notice due to publisher updates and market conditions.

ORDERING PROCESS

  • Though you can contact us for book purchase through  WhatsApp, Instagram, or phone call, PLEASE NOTE: all orders are placed and processed through our website

  • Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an acknowledgment message containing your order details and delivery timeline.

  • For bulk or corporate orders, kindly request a custom quote

PAYMENT POLICY

  • Kandila Bookstore operates a 100% upfront payment policy for all orders.

  • We accept bank Transfer, card Payments (via secure checkout), direct deposit, USSD

  • Payments must reflect before an order is processed.

  • In cases of failed or duplicate transactions, refunds will be issued by your bank within 24–72 business hours.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

  • We deliver across Nigeria and selected African countries.

  • Delivery fees vary based on location, courier rates, and package weight.

  • Standard delivery timeline: Same  City: 24–48 hours. Nationwide: 2–7 business days. International: 7–21 business days

  • Once your order ships, you will receive tracking update.

SPECIAL ORDERS

  • Pre-orders require full payment. Delivery timelines for pre-orders are communicated.

  • Pre-order payments are non-refundable except in cases where the publisher cancels release.

  • Bulk purchase attracts discount.

  • Orders by corporate bodies may be eligible for extended payment terms upon agreement.

NOTE: Customers may choose to pick up orders from our designated pick-up locations. Pick-up must be done within 7 days of confirmation of stock; otherwise, admin and storage fees may apply.

RETURN, EXCHANGE AND CANCELLATION POLICY

To ensure the integrity of our books, kindly note:

Eligible Returns/Exchanges
  • Wrong order delivered
  • Books with severe print errors

Conditions for Return/Exchange
  • Report any issues within 24 hours of receiving your order with pictures/videos.

  • Returned books must be in unused, resalable condition.

  • Exchanges will be processed within 3–7 business days.

  • Refunds (where applicable) will be issued as store credit, not cash, unless where otherwise agreed.

Not Eligible for Return
  • Books damaged by customer handling

  • Books already read or used

  • E-books or digital products

  • Clearance or discounted items (final sale)

7. CANCELLATION POLICY
  • Orders may be cancelled within 1 hour of payment.

  • After 1 hour, order processing has begun, and cancellations will attract a restocking or admin fee of 25%. After 12 hour hours, cancellation is not allowed.
